worn out

Today I'm just plain tired.  I've gotten a lot done in the last two days, which feels great, but there are still so many things that I need/want to get done.  Nesting has arrived, and knowing that I have less than 4 mos. until baby boy comes makes me feel like I need to be in superwoman mode.  Go ahead and throw the holidays in there, too, with all the fun (and chaos) that will involve.

In addition to all that, I am currently attempting to potty train M.  That means more stops for potty breaks or cleaning up messes.  She initiated the wearing of the "big girl's" this time around, so is more motivated than the other times we've tried.  However, the cleaning up of multiple messes still exists.  I know that comes with this phase, but I'm just plain worn out.  C is suddenly having some "aim issues" as well, so it is a double whammy.

That's all.  Just keeping it real. :)

I LOVE that you're keeping it real! My hubby was telling me the other day that he would really like to see Audrey potty trained and why did I stop practicing using the potty with her? I was kinda frustrated when he said that because my girl is clearly not ready to be potty trained. She just doesn't have the words yet so I'm gonna wait awhile. I can totally understand your frustration about the whole potty training process. Definitely not the funnest thing in the world!

wishing you much success with rest, nesting and potty training. My little guy is interested and we are working on the pull up push down motions with his fingers and body. It sure does take a lot to pull up little pants when you look at a wee person trying to do it. I am hoping to have it done by two which is in december. maybe in a few weekends I will dive into the "get it done in two days thought."

I hear ya on the potty training stuff! My 3 yo has it down for the most part, but there were 2 nights this past week that I had to change bedsheets b/c the child who was night trained for a good month has been peeing the bed. Siigghhh! Good luck!
